Azulejos del Vado

Azulejos del Vado began its activity in 1990, in a store located in San Bartolomé de la Torre, 30km from Huelva, with the name Azulejos y Pavimentos del Odiel, S.L.

Our main goal was to meet the needs of the region's population when it came to building materials, making it possible to access quality brands wether in ceramic as sanitary ware, bathroom accessories, faucets, etc.

Later we opened a second store in Gibraleón, the Tile trade center in the region of Huelva. This new establishment invested in a new exhibition format for building materials in the region, to facilitate circulation and access to a wide range of exposed products and provide quality, both in the products we sell as in the service we provide our customers. At this point we changed the name of the company to the current, "Azulejos del Vado".

Due to our privileged location near the road that connects Huelva to the Portuguese border, we considered the challenge of starting activity in Portugal, so as to meet its specific needs. Thus, in 1995 we opened an establishment in Faro (Algarve), on the road between Faro and Olhão, and in 1997 a new store in Lagoa (Algarve), near Fatacil.

In 2009, we opened a new store at Sepes Industrial Polygon, located in Ayamonte, near the Portuguese border. In this new establishment, with almost 2,000 square meters of exhibition, you would be able to learn more about the new trends in ceramics, faucets, bathroom furniture and accessories, natural stone and floating floor.

    This way, in a short amount of time, we went from a modest company with only one store to a company with five stores, a significant sales volume, a team of about 50 employees and model facilities with large warehouses and exhibition areas.
